French American hybrid developed by Johannes Seyve.  It is thought to be a hybrid between a Siebel hybrid and an unknown American grape.  One of the most desirable grapes to work with in the winery.  With extended hang time capable of attaining very high brix while maintaining manageable pH levels. Makes a wide variety of wine types of exceptional quality. Sumptuous black cherry, wild raspberry.  Pairs well with roast turkey, roast chicken, grilled vegetables
