Description
Vidal Blanc on own rootstock is a highly productive wine grape noted for its sprightly acidity and suitability for use in production of a variety of wine styles including dessert wines, sparkling wines, and dry table wines. Will tolerate cold temperatures, and with adaquate irrigation, will withstand very high temperatures. Very well suited to upland alluvial soil types, but will tolerate clay soils as well. Discriptors include pear, pineapple, and melon notes.
